This is a superb vintage Vogue Magazine poster. Vogue magazine was one of the most influential fashion magazines of the twentieth century. It was started in America in 1892 and in the 1920s launched its British edition.

This cover features a highly stylish, fashionable young women. She sitting on a two-tone green settee and of course she is reading Vogue magazine. The image was illustrated by George Wolfe Plank a popular American artist and illustrator. Plank was responsible for creating many covers art deco style covers that often had a touch of the surreal about them.

The 15 March 1912 edition of the magazine featured articles including With Vanity Fair at Monte Carlo, The Importance of the Right Wall-Covering. It also featured fashion articles Seen in the Shops and Smart Fashions for Limited Incomes and What She Wears and an article about the theatre called Seen On The Stage.
