This vintage Sunny Rhyl poster epitomises a typical 1950’s beach scene on almost any British seaside resort. It was illustrated by the artist Septimus Scott and features a young child running across the centre of the poster with a balloon. A small black Scottie dog is chasing and jumping up after a red balloon on the child’s hand. The beach behind them is full of holidaymakers enjoying the holidays in front of the then famous Rhyl Pavillion.
