This is a vintage French advertising poster originally produced in 1901. It was created by Leonetto Cappiello for the Ferrari Opera in France to advertise noodles and pasta. The poster features a good number of celebrity’s of the era, each named below their characature. showing a number of celebrities, each identified. They are the French actor Mounet-Sully, Stage actress Ève Lavallière, Baron, the actress Jane Hading, the actor Coquelin Aine who was considered , “one of the greatest theatrical figures of the age.” actress Gabrielle Réjane, actor Albert Brasseur, actor and early film director Le Bargy, Opera soprano Jeanne Granier, actor Lucien Guitry, Coquelin Cadet, and  Brandés. Some of the celebs are making their way into the venue. They are getting caught up in a chat with those that have purchased food and are on their way out. There is little doubt that, at the time, most of the people illustrated would have been recognised by the public. Several of them also appeared on other Belle Epoque posters that were pasted up around Paris, at the turn of the century.
