Led Zeppelin Baths Hall poster
This is a vintage Led Zeppelin Concert Poster, advertising a gig at the St Matthew’s Baths Hall in Ipswich, Suffolk. The concert took place on Tuesday 16th November 1971.
Led Zeppelin is often cited as one of the greatest rock bands of all time, and their influence can still be felt today. The band’s unique blend of hard rock, blues, and folk music helped to pioneer a new sound that would soon dominate the airwaves. Led Zeppelin’s lengthy concert performances helped to cement the band’s reputation as one of the most exciting live acts in rock history.
The band had played stadiums around the world in 1971 but opted to play smaller venues, including St Matthew’s Baths, to promote Led Zeppelin IV. The former St Matthew’s Baths in Civic Drive was a popular gig venue in the 1960s and 70s, when boards were laid over the pool for visits by top names. The Led Zeppelin show has reputedly gone down in folklore as the best concert ever performed in Suffolk.

Our posters are carefully and professionally created from vintage originals. Whilst great care is taken in the production of these posters, we also try to maintain a vintage feel, so there may be small imperfections, fold marks, scuffs, tears or marks that were part of the original poster master. If these do appear they should be visible on the larger views of the item on this listing. The originals of many of the posters we offer can cost many thousands of pounds, so whilst these posters look great, especially framed and mounted on a wall, they are intended as a fun, affordable reproductions and not intended fine art prints.
The 50x70cm version has been specially produced to be used in conjunction with Ikea’s 50x70cm Ribba picture frame which currently retails for around £12. So you can bag a bargain of print and poster for just £22.
