James Bond – Dr No – British – 1962

Dr No is a 1962 British spy film based on the 1958 novel of the same name written by Ian Fleming. The film starred Sean Connery , Ursula Andree, Joseph Wiseman and Jack Lord.

It is the first film in the James Bond series and produced by Harry Saltzman and Albert R. Broccoli.

Dr. No was a financial success. While the film received a mixed critical reaction upon release, it has gained a reputation over time as one of the series’ best installments. Dr. No also launched a genre of “secret agent” films that flourished in the 1960s.

This version is a reproduction of the British quad poster that features artwork by Mitchell Hooks and designer David Chasman. It features Sean Connery as the suave James Bond with a selection of Bond girls including Honey Rider (Ursula Andress), wearing her famous white bikini stood against a striking bright yellow background.

An original copy of this poster was listed online for sale with a £21,000 price tag .
