Another fantastic vintage German travel poster, created by the artist Jupp Wiertz in the mid 1930s. The German travel poster shows a Graf Zeppelin flying over a small island on its flight from Europe to South America. The poster states the flight will take just three days. The poster was produced by the Deutsche Zeppelin-Reederei company.

The luxury airship Graf Zeppelin was built by Luftschiffbau Zeppelin and made 590 flights between 1928 to 1937. The original poster was printed in Germany by Eschebach & Schaefer, Leipzig.

Please Note: Because of the era the poster originates from, the Graf Zeppelin flew under the then German national flag which included a swastika. In order to not cause offence, we have created an ‘unoffensive’  version of the poster removing the flags from the tail fin. This is the version we will send out upon ordering. If, however, should you wish to receive your poster in its original form, including the insignia, please send us an email when ordering.

Our posters are carefully and professionally created from vintage originals. Whilst great care is taken in the production of these posters, we also try to maintain a vintage feel, so there may be small imperfections, fold marks, scuffs, tears or marks that were part of the original poster master. If these do appear they should be visible on the larger views of the item on this listing.
